Week Two

We are already beginning to talk about customer service. Talk about a positive customer service experience you have had working at Jittery Joe's.

Every morning I encounter positive customer service. My customers are ethier polite with their response or sometimes we even start talking. When I tell people to have a nice day, they do the same I feel that is respect but also positive customer service. Today, a lady asked me for a smoothie, and I didn't know how to make one, but she was very polite about it and just asked for something else.

Week One

Is working at Jittery Joe's your first experience with work? If not, what skills from other jobs are you implementing at the coffee shop? If it is, what skills are you learning that you will take with you to future jobs?

No it is not, but it is a completely different kind of work. I used to work at a book warehouse, i had people who worked with me but we never associated except at lunch or break. We were constantly working and it was more of a labor job instead of handling money and preparing food services. I am pretty good with money though, but it is teaching me how to use the register.
